Akira-San’s local food and drinks tour was one of the top highlights of my time in Tokyo over the holidays. He took us to an area that’s not as widely known as some of the others popularized in travel blogs and outlets and he did not steer us wrong! We got to try a variety of tasty local food at restaurants off the beaten path and wash it down with a healthy amount of beer, Japanese whisky and sake. It was a great NYE warm up!
